SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Socialeinrete’s mission is to create financial opportunities (law 381/1991) and protection (law 68/1999) for the disadvantaged of Italy. As a part of Socialeinrete, AltreMani upholds this mission in its employee selection process. Although the majority of AltreMani’s employees are disadvantaged, they possess the necessary skills and experience to create high quality products. AltreMani recognizes the value of these individuals and provides them with opportunities to utilize their skills in the working world.

In addition to fulfilling a social need, AltreMani’s use of recycled organic materials provides an eco-friendly approach to furnishing a home. Thorough research into sustainable material treatment for paper, tissue, wood, string, fruit, and vegetables has ensured that AltreMani’s products are sustainable.


QUALITY & SUSTAINABILITY
The recycled materials used in AltreMani’s products are provided by local industries in the Tuscan area. These industries donate their excess materials to AltreMani; which in turn provides the materials with a “second life” as unique, sustainable furniture pieces.
